this is much more accurate. actually Al did fleece them because i forgot about the progress payments. At the end, he netted 1.15 Billion. So how is this bad for the AB side?

I knew the shared management structure wasn't working well and BSC wanted total control. Keep in mind that BSC was in an aquire at all costs mode at the time, part of the reason why their stock is still at $5 due to all that debt (Jim Tobin essentially killed this company).

This does support OPC's argument that Al drives very hard deals and bargains...something I have always agreed with analyzing his former transactions. And yes...this could be a reason we haven't seen a partner...deal is simply to rich and risky at this stage. But I think the closer we get to approval with more data, this risk goes down.

But to say this wasn't a success for Al Mann is not true. This was a HOME RUN for him and Advanced Bionics team.
