Hi MNKD Friends ! I have not had much to say for awhile, because for months now I have been very frustrated. I have been unable to continue my acquisition of MNKD stock. Due to economic considerations, business and family obligations, etc. - I have been forced to "scramble" in order to keep "all bases covered" without selling my MNKD stock. lol.
An example/defination of "scrambling" : Plans to attend a Colt firearms gunshow in Ft. Worth later this month to evaluate bids on my 1894 Colt Single Action Army handgun. I have obtained a letter from Colt Manufacturing Archives department that authenticates the shipment of this gun (by serial number) to a St. Louis hardware store on Feb. 5, 1894. This handgun was made in caliber .38-40, a production run many times smaller than the better known & more famous Colt .45, consequently making it more rare. All serial numbers match, original handgrips with the "Rampant Colt" (dancing pony) logo, 4 3/4" barrel, almost all original bluing, in fully working order and overall very good to excellent condition. Preliminary online results of comparable auction prices realized for similar quality weapons of this description are between $5k to $7K .

My phone rings this morning before I have had my first cup of coffee. The man on the line is asking me if I can bring him a copy of the property survey plat and legal description of my ranch because he is drafting a contract offer to buy it from me ! I have rejected two previous verbal offers from this "gentleman" in the past. This time he is putting something on paper, knowing what I have quoted him in the past. Could it be possible that my long economic "drought" is about to end ? Is an ACCEPTABLE offer in the works....finally ??? I drove the 50 miles to deliver the survey & legal description to him before noon. He was "out of the office" so I left it with his secretary.
What does any of this personal stuff have to do with MNKD ? The ranch property has no mortgage to pay off on it. Those here who know me personally and my conviction regarding MNKD and Mr. Mann will understand the significance. Those who don't, no sweat ! Three guesses about my intentions for a CHUNK of the sale proceeds, first two don't count ! Sometimes prayers DO get answered ! Trying to be patient and calm, but hope & anticipation are racing my heartbeat ! Unbelievable possibilities ! GO MNKD ! GO MR. MANN !
