These conferences are attended by the usual suspects of a bunch of investment bankers. They know exactly what the critical issues are but they won't ask those questions to risk embarrassing the company that they may seek business later on.

Some company may open up to questions from retail investors and I always wonder why we don't hear from any of us on regular conference calls. I heard an incoherent one from one of the earnings call and that was a complete waste of time. Maybe you could call in at the next earnings call and represent the small stock holders in this forum.
