The silence from management could have one more reason:

You can get more claims/JV with other participants in RoF area at much better conditions if you have your cards closed. If everybody are thinking you have nothing confermed yet and at current market conditions BMK can obtain a huge land position for almost no money.

Why BMK needs this? I believe the answer could be in their few NRs: they are using a new methods in anomalies indication and perhaps have more information about area than disclosed to the public.

If it is truth, it sounds very intriguing.
