05:20 AM EDT, 08/01/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Kirkland Lake Gold (KL) reported Q2 adjusted earnings per share of $0.50, up from $0.30 per share in the prior-year quarter, and higher than the consensus estimate of $0.48 per share compiled by Capital IQ.

The Canadian gold mining company's revenue was $281.3 million, up from $214.7 million in Q2 2018. Two analysts in a CapIQ survey had expected $276.2 million.
