There has or have been a recent post or posts by an agoracom blogger claiming that, with respect to KWG's proposed patent regarding the use of natural gas in processing ferrochrome, that the Chinese "...have already tweaked it a bit to even greater savings."

This claim caused me concern given some value of KWG can be ascribed to the pending patent for which KWG seeks application. If the Chinese were to "tweak" or otherwise modify the process to an extent that they could seek their own distinct, novel and superior patent, it would diminish or render inferior the process that KWG has developed and thus would reduce the value of KWG in some manner. At that point would the Chinese not buy the raw chromite from KWG directly (or from Noront) and process it themselves or grant another entity license to use this tweaked and superior patent to use on their behalf?

Given my concern, I conducted my own due diligence and investigated this matter including conversations with those close to and knowledgeable of the process, the patent application and the interest expressed by the Chinese.

My finding is that the claim that "they (the Chinese) have already tweaked it a bit to even greater savings." has been determined to be false. According to my due diligence, the Chinese are interested or have expressed interest in the ferrochrome processing patent, for which KWG seeks application, in the current form.

I encourage all to conduct their own due diligence as they deem appropriate and to their own satisfaction.
