LB,
Spoke like a lawyer!
I would go along with the assertion that there are no grounds for appeal. CLF had enough time for its temper tantrum. It's time to wash the face and sit down to have some dinner.
Perhaps, we should write CLF to persuate it to sit down and have a cordial talk with KWG.
We may even want to contact PM Harper to suggest to him that it's high time for CLF to sit down and have a meaningful chat with little KWG. I have written to PM Harper on the merit of the Ring of Rail (RoR) for the RoF as part of his vision for developing the North. The letter was forwarded to Minister Clement with a nice note from the PMO. There is now a new Minister for FedNor, Minister Greg Rickford, Kenora MP. Perhaps he should be sent a copy of any letter on this topic. But, my preference would be to deal directly with the top person.
Also, I wrote Premier Wynne not too long ago on the slow progress in the review of a MCP (Mine Closure Plan) submitted by another company (I am a shareholder). The review would normally take just a little longer than 45 days, but this case has dragged on and on. Finally, after 10 months approval was given. I don't know if my intervention actually did anything, but I did get a nice reply saying that my concerns have been forwarded to the review office, a few weeks before the approval was given.
This may be considered as an off topic, but as tax payers we are entitled to express our opinions to our elected officials, noting that there is an election coming in Ontario.
