Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
Will Cliffs appeal or negotiate, or jointly appeal/negotiate? KWG and Cliffs have sure dominated the news in the ROF this week with KWG winning the decision from the Mining Commissioner on their right of way to the ROF. Needless to say, Cliffs are not happy. Along with Cliffs, many Provincial politicians, and others, are also not happy that tiny KWG stood up to the bully and won the day. Surprise, surprise, sometimes common sense and justice does go to the small guy. We at KWG are getting it from all sides, including some posters who either drift over here on the KWG site, or use the Noront site to whine, belittle KWG for our supposed attitude in blocking the mighty Cliffs from their prize package. I guess they feel we should just shoulder our losses and go quietly into the night. The very same posters who denigrate KWG would love to have a Frank Smeenk running the NOT operation and making the fantastic moves on their shareholders behalf that he has surely done for KWG. Here is a viewpoint from a Bill Gallagher who is a lawyer and strategist who wrote yesterday on the Commissioner's decision http://www.firstperspective.ca/index.php/news/14-bill-gallagher/1373-ontario-s-mining-albatross-ring-of-fire-on-life-support-for-years-to-come and by reading this article, you understand that KWG is in the cross-hairs of many. But guess what? We are not going away, we co-discovered the whole ROF, and why should we give it all up to a big American National who tried to shaft KWG every step of the way? Cliffs cannot let this go to appeal with the idea of winning in the courts, as has been stated, that whole process would take approximately 5 years to resolve, and no way are the politicians, FN, or other interests going to wait that long for resolution. Rumour has it that Frank Smeenk just came back from Europe. Was that a vacation, or tied to the ROF? With Black Horse, and the excellent grades shown there, at what point do politicians, etc. say, "move over Cliffs, your day in the sun is over, and we have a new player without all your baggage taking over". Nobody can turn back the clock and have a "do over" of the Mining Commissioner's Decision. We won, so just get over it and deal with us as a very, very, vital link in the whole development of the ROF, and give KWG the respect they earned, and the rewards they so justly deserve. Just my opinion, and rant for the day. rj
