An easement, is a legal entitlement ordered by a judicial process, where the owner of a property, is required to permit use of his land, for access to an adjacent property....it is not for the purpose of acquiring the property of the owner....and most assuredly, not to force the owner off the land, for some 300 KMs...so IMHO, easement fails in this case....

Expropriation, is the forced acquiring of land for the accepted general use by all, governments acquiring land to build a highway for the common good of all the population....not simply a large company, who desires the land to its own use, for example Cliffs, sole purpose in using the land would be to move their products...hence expropriation fails in IMHO!

So, what remains....well, how about the Federal, and Provincial governments expropriating the property in the name of the common good....there has to be compensation to the owner....now here is the problem, what is the value of the land all 300 kms....is the undiscovered intrinsic wealth potential, or is just wild untamed land worth the value of the claim maintence paid in, for example $6000 per claim…..
