On the weekend I posted information in regard to ferrachrome being produced from samples supplied from the Black Thor deposit. I had found that information on the Xstrata Process Support website. One statement in there that concerned me was this; "With the support of Cliffs, the pilot scale furnace is now fully operational and producing larger scale test results."

It says with the support of Cliffs, so I was wondering to myself if Cliffs would have any influence on what ore is tested at this facility. I contacted XPS this morning and asked the question. They assured me that XPS runs a completely independent facility.
