Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
Barbu,
- Black Thor (the decoy): My speculation, judging from CLF past behaviour, is always that Black Thor is a decoy, the real mccoy would be BD along with Black Creek (PRB) since the two have higher grades and would be suitable for DSO to get some initial cash flow while waiting for other pieces to fall in place. The smeller could be discussed later. It's kind of interesting to note that CLF (with agreement from KWG) started bulk sample drilling to outline the open pit for BD. In addition, CLF would need that piece of PRB property to build the access roads to the site (BT or or BD and BC). If they swallowed BC then they would have some relief on road access and loss of the buffer zones between BD and PRB (60m on both sides?). Quite a bit of ore I would imagine.
- Another major coming in for 30% of BD: Assuming that CLF now comes clean and declares that BT is a decoy, then Baosteel (through NOT) could be a potential candidate, since they may not want to run the mine at all. Some people they just want the ore and don't want to get involved with headaches of running of running a mine. There is a lot of synergy here. Share RR, power costs etc...
BTW, do you or anyone else know the latest status of the re-staking of the claims just below FNC (the 2 claims in the Kopler Lake area). Last thing I heard was CCC subsidiary of KWG was ahead of NOT in getting these 2 claims, hence has control of the airstrip and staging areas. Is this still true? If so, then we need to watch KWG as well during the current run ups of NOT, FNC and PRB. Last thing I saw was KWG at 0.09 at almost 2M shares. The new claims underneath FNC is located just next to the Eagle's Nest. KWG could be a late bloomer.
