I wonder if Cliffs still holds all of its KWG position at this time. I guess they would have to lower it to -10% in order to avoid the valuation requirements if they are to make an (unexpected) bid for KWG. Dumping 50 MM of shares is quite something, and this may not be made within a week, or even a month... (BTW: someone noticed that lots of sales today were made tru CIBC?)

But again, why would CLiffs run after KWG at this time? And with respect, I don't believe in a 'protective' multi-million investment coming from Xstrata (or BHP or anyone else, Chinese, Indian, etc...), to earn a minority share of a JV with Cliffs for BD chromite. If it is ever to be done, it will probably be made tru friendly agreements with Cliffs, and not by way of a hostile bid for KWG shares.
