News announcement Nov 3rd/10. Premier McGuinty meets with Chairman Li Ka-shing & CEO Eric Huang in China to discuss investment opportunities in Ontario and ROF situation. The Premier and Mr. Li discussed Ontario as a growing North American location for new investment and trade.

Who is Li Ka-Shing? He is as of Feb. 10th, 2010, the 14th richest man in the world with estimated US worth of 23.1 billion dollars. He is Asias' most powerful man and is the Chairman of Hutchinson Whampoa Limited and Cheung Kong Holdings which are the largest operator of container terminals in the world and also health & beauty retail.

CEO Eric Huang is Chairman of CITIC Bank, the 7th largest lender in terms of assets in China and back in 2005 had over 400 branches and many other holdings.

It was speculated on SH that these 2 gentlemen may be interested in the ROF and conjecture has it that the railroad may possibly be in play with these 2 gentlemen. Obviously, money would not be a problem. Mr. Li has also, it has been reported, been very involved in building condos both in BC and Toronto so would certainly know his way around Canadian investing. In any case, if they are interested in the railroad or chromite, KWG would certainly be a company they might wish to do business with. You recall, a while back. Ontario Cabinet Minister Mr. Gravelle mentioned there was possible a big news announcement coming soon, could this be it or it may be something else.
