Welcome To The Inspiration Mining HUB On AGORACOM

The company is exploring for nickel deposits on its Langmuir property near Timmins, Ontario; for nickel-gold-copper on its Cleaver and Douglas properties; and for molybdenum and rare earth elements at recently acquired Desrosiers property.

Yes EBF it seemed rash and somewhat flippant for the time.

In a late night post I tried to ask the board why is it that this Metal Mines move is seen as a negative? Yet had it been in the works "pre-micon report" it would be seen as a positive?

The company was also bold enough to mention their change of focus to the gold and rare earth properties. Hopefully that disclosure didn't rock everyone's boat too much either as it was/is very OLD NEWS!!. Recall for those who actually do read the board and or the sedar filing/s, that the company mentioned the windup of drilling at Langmuir and that there was to be a shift in exploration and focus to Cleaver/Douglas etc last summer. They even noted and pointed out that the change on drilling expenditures Q over Q reflected that change in focus as well. Recall the heat they took for not spending all the Flow though monies, instead they paid the resulting penalty.

Here we are today, having weathered the financial storm, with the money to move along and open up on those other prospects that ISM has in their portfolio. We are an exploration company and we are yes we are still speculative.

So this shouldn't be too much of a surprise to anyone invested here, that the company has pretty well drilled up Langmuir (2005/2006/2007/2008), submitted the lot to Micon, and after quite a length of time, will now follow thru on the results and recommendations of such report. Is Langmuir not simply a matter of course right now? You know, there will be drilling on the potential targets and then more of that boring long and tedious infill drilling. Old hat after 4 or 5 years of the same. Can't they put that on cruise control, do what they said we should do and carry on matter of course. As such, I would suspect that all that the required amount of drilling does not happen over one weekend, or one week, or one month, it may take upto a year. In the meantime they have the money to do so. There is gas in this company's tank!!!

So as well it looks like they will also move forward with the drilling and exploration plans that were laid out in the Feb NR for the 2010 program. AKA "Change of focus" or shift in case thats a better term.

As per those making the Jasper/Nitinat vs ISM/Langmuir/Metal mines comparisons.....Wildcatter wrote a good post stating this spin out is not looking at all like the Jasper/Nitinat spin. His post was well written and no one even acknowledged what I thought were valid points and observations/opinions.

Like always, it seems that the negatives or perceived negatives are amplified by the few and especially when the disenchanted chime in as one big support group. Commiserate over on the other board if thats all you are capable of. I am all for balance but if you are playing devils advocate then at least be informed ahead of time so we can do so.

For some poster to walk in and ask what has Randy Miller done in the last three years? Give me a break do you really want that all listed? How is it there are posters who only bring questions to the board?

This company is far from what it was in infancy 3 or 4 yrs ago. The fact that we are near the stage where we can spin out langmuir or at least let it out of the nest is interesting to me. (aka "advanced exploration stage") It is my opinion that there has been progress in reaching stated exploration targets and goals and that it was good to see the company committed to following thru on the Micon recommendations. As usual, we have to sit back and watch and a see how this plan runs it's course.

Let's not forget the guy everyone likes to crucify is also a large shareholder with the same "ISM shareholder get rich plan" as you and I. Of course there are the obvious responsibilities as the leader of a publically traded entity on the TSX. We as shareholding peons just need more details and more information. More certainty/s would lead to both stabilization in SP and would lessen the degree of risk in the market. Granted these type of investments are always speculative. That's where we find or risk reward ratio as determined by the current market's pricing for ISM.

Heck I like to see the Jan 6/10 NR from Micon/ISM as the opener for Metal Mines now. All that work trying to figure out what the current 43-101 did for the value of ISM may as well be applied to the Metal Mines picture. Now we just have to prove up those other targets that Micon as well as ISM believes to out there in the "Langmuir pastures".

Full of opinion :)
