Good point there Whale. Without entering the politically risky areas of the world I really don't see how these majors plan on such expansion goals. They are definetly threatened by the major Chinese thrust into the production side of mining of all commodities.

I would bet First Quant still has problems getting Raventhorpe up and running still. And you know that Fenix project of HudBay is going no where anytime soon. Goro is a mess. Muran Muran is well, Muran Muran.

Maybe Xstrata's plans in Tanzania may help but theres problems there too. Just an opinion from the tundra of Canada.
