The following process should allow you to send a direct message:

• click on the member ID you are trying to contact from within an existing message posted on the forum by that member.
• when the profile page comes up scroll down to the section just under where it says "Contact lmcbain"
• complete the "Subject" and "Enter a message to email this member" fields
• click on the "send message" button just below that when ready
