Now the trading activity makes a lot more sense. I can see how there would be cooperation between houses to settle shorts where everyone benefits. I hope there is not a short squeeze at this point, I don't wish to pay taxes on shares I had no plans of selling. Should've bought AUMN into the lows, not ECU, live and learn, another lesson.
