I think it is impossible to protect yourself against these kind of things. And to be honest, it is better not trying to protect yourself against these kind of one-man actions, because you will need a Soviet Police Aparatski to do so.

A serious public discussion on immigration issues is the best solution and I understand, that that is what Norway wants to do. Democracy and a free independent press is the best way to take out tensions among the population.
