From Harvey Organ tonight @ http://harveyorgan.blogspot.com/
"Gold finished the comex session today at $1589.00 up a full $3.80. The silver price started to rocket past the 38.00 dollar resistance level, closing at $38.69 up 55 cents. There is now no question that the two big hurdles for gold and silver are $1600.00 for the ancient metal of kings and 40.00 dollars for its poorer cousin.
Also remember that tomorrow is options expiry for shares and the banking cartel traditionally whack gold and silver on the Friday of the expiry. They usually short gold and silver mining shares on the Thursday (today)
and thus they did not disappoint us with their shenanigans as the gold shares were hit mildly. The XAU closed down 1.57 to 214.28 and the HUI lost 3.98 to 566.13."
