I am not thinking this is a good deal for the average shareholder.

The trading pattern of the company has been suspicious. They announce this deal just as good news about the drilling was about to come out so the ECU shareholder doesn't get the benefit of the drilling we paid for and waited years to get going. That is a slap in the face of every long term holder.

Ever since Altman joined this company it has been about Bay Street and not the shareholders.

I will never again be part of a company he is involved with.

I made money on this company as most of my shares were purchesed yers ago at .19...but this feels so dirty I feel like taking a shower.

Your comparison to the Glamis deal isn't apples to apples..as you point out Goldcorp bought Glamis, we got no premium on this deal. I haven't done any DD on the company that now owns 1/2 of ECU....so who know's how this will turn out. But ECU hasn't had my interest at heart for years.

Coach...you might also point out in your posts supporting this deal that ECU is a paid advertiser on your site.

You might say you bought the cheap warrents with the funds they pay you....many others were all in waiting for the drilling results.....many with warrents.....

IT JUST STINKS.
