"I would rather live in a world where everyone is able to make 50,000$ a year and live of their salaries then in a world where I make millions and everyone else is starving...etc"
CMKXVictim...
That's certainly a "nice" sentiment, but I'm afraid that it's along the lines of pretending that when U eat beef, the cow didn't have to die.
If everyone in the world made $50,000 per year, (year 2000 inflation adjusted) then there would be no oil left at all this year, instead of twenty+ years in the future, and the population would have by now exploded...
With oil suddenly unavailble (it couldn't really happen suddenly - it would happen much like it's happening today...), there would then be 10 billion people suffering through famine, disease and death, instead of the merely 6 billion people it will happen to when the oil finally does run out completely. The world can only support a finite number of people in any semblance of sustainability without a steady supply of oil.
They are just not making oil anymore! Do (or read) the math.
I agree - it is sad, but there is an unspoken war going on...the war for the last of the earth's living space, and natural resources.
U can't expect it to be all that "nice". Sorry - I didn't make it this way. That just seems like how it has to be with humans. Competition and Survival...etc.
U can only do your best, and when U make your millions, then U can feed and give jobs to the less fortunate if U so decide.
