Hi Bluegold.
Gave your post a recommendation as it was to be part of my post as well (See below), but for a different reason.
We are where we are because of big government, and until we recognize, and fix, there will be no respite.

Snippet:
“I go to the gold shows because I want a feel for what ordinary investors are thinking and saying. I met with a lot of people at PDAC (Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada) in Toronto. Americans and Canadians are quite pissed off at government. They realize government has created the problem. We can't afford the government we've got now. Everybody knows that. They just don't want to address it.”

A confession!
I try to post links to articles that express what I believe. I am not as eloquent, nor can I express myself as succinctly, as the authors, but they express my sentiments completely.
A second confession!
My previous post was about the Greek government and the “New” tax money it was finding among its citizens.
Most people are bullied, shamed, you name it; into admitting a lie. They claim that they do not mind paying taxes. What a complete load!
Always pay my taxes (and considerable to), but only because I respect the law (Cockerel law #3 – always protect the downside), but I abhor paying!
Why?
Because I see how the monies are used, or should I say “ABUSED”.
And they are imposed without logic, forethought etc.
We have idiots imposing taxes on anything that moves or is stationary, and then they impose taxes on final immobility – DEATH. They tax water, food and we are even contemplating giving them license to tax breathing.
Reminds me of the hardworking, family man, who admits to being a good law-abiding citizen.
“I earn enough to house my family.
I earn enough to provide food.
I earn enough to run an economical car.
I earn enough to provide clean clothes for everyone.
I earn enough to give my family small gifts at Christmas.
I earn enough to give them a small vacation once a year
And I earn enough to save a small pittance for my retirement or emergencies.
But I cannot afford all of the above AND pay taxes.”
We have “FINES” imposed for law infractions, like speeding. I agree with punishment (points against the drivers license), but not by taking monies out of the productive side of the system and into the non-productive side.
Every time we “trust?” monies to a level of government, we give them power to grow. Soon they become “Too big to Fail” (Where have we heard that before?) and they become targets for the real intellectual power mongers (cockroaches) – The Financial Houses.
End result?
Look around you and observe!
And to enter the fray,
Sheep follow T.A. (and they are by far the majority) but Fundamentals will rule the day.
Good Luck to all!
