Suddenly discover that there is zero silver in the ETF's
Big scandal ensues.
Everybody dumps their ETF's at huge loss.
Banks scoop them up for almost nothing and cover their shorts at huge profits.
Problem solved.
That is the ETF's scenario, but what will happen to the price of bullion? Not sure that everybody will dump their EFT in this litigative society. There could be more lawsuits than sellers.
