Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
RedB, thanks for stating the matter more eloquently than I ever would or could. This paragraph in particular:
"What Edgy, and I are talking about is what you describe as " the biggest danger" and the Kinross/Aurelian deal brings that into sharp focus: Kinross just bought Aurelian for LESS THAN AURELIAN"S MARKET CAP A FEW MONTHS AGO!!!!!!! for goodness sake, why should we not be seriously concerned about the chance of that happening to us? How would you feel if ECU were sold tomrrow at it's lifetime HIGH SHARE PRICE???? ($3.65, I think.) I would make a relatively large amount of money and I would be very annoyed"
I see a very real possibility of it happening and would not be annoyed with anyone in the above example, but very disappointed. That is why we need to be conscious of the possibility and discuss it in the open.
( I spent a bit of time on Lake Erie today so could not reply earlier.)
Thanks to all for the comments this far.
