Good point Tooker, circumstances do make a big difference.
I expect the US dollar to continue its slide. Unfortunately being canadian my dollar is being manipulated so that we can continue to sell manufactured products to the US. Therefore most of the stocks that I own are also my insurance against both dollars implosion ( i.e. preserving my small wealth). The small short term trades are used to also supplement my income because I am semi-retired and with the market being as it is, that supplement is very small.

Seems to me your view is of a long term outlook and probably of many here also however my question is of a more immediate nature.
What would you do today or next week?

The question is prompted by the Aurelian offer which seems to me at a price that Aurelian was worth just a few months ago. With big caps likely to be swallowing small caps over the next months or even years, we are likely to get an offer that in my opinion would be a tiny fraction of what we already know we have in resource value. That offer could be with a premium of similar proportion based on our current price.
On paper it would look fine but in reality it would be a steal - therefore the possibility of such an offer is quite likely.

My question is meant to get an idea if we are likely to buy into a similarly proportioned offer.

The comments so far seem to me fairly idealistic. Should an offer surface on monday I suspect most of you would be thinking with more practical prices in mind.
