Thanks to GWR for a response to my question. He states:

" It's not true that more holes were required but a re-organization of the data was advised to increase the M&I and even P&P as both will be needed for the feasibility study work. This was a big job and entailed recalculating hundreds of blocks of data for the bulk tonnage areas of Santa Juana. Don't know what the final numbers will be but am assured I will not be disappointed and since I trust this managment group, that's good enough for me"

That is also good enough for me.
