if there was such an award for meaningful posts, i would nominate this one by Larry.

it eliminates so much rhetoric around the value of gold "in the ground" by simple undeniable truths as stated.

there are many companies like Osisko trading at multiple hundreds per oz. (a buy out offer based on only 100 dollars per oz in the ground would not be considered a reasonable offer for GNH.)
