New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Brent Cook for sure knows more about geology than everyone on this hub..perhaps combined.
Yep Hoov (60%) + Everyone else (5%) = 65% of what I would suspect he knows.
However...I'd also calculate that Brent Cook knows about 5% of what those on this hub know about GNH, combined.
Cook is going to look like an idiot or a genius over time...and for a guy who does what he does for a living, I'm sure it that this is just part of the job. Of course I don't think Cook said anything offside as he admitted his source of information was the from GNH website.
What is there, like 1000 jr explorers out there? Nobody can see them all. He did what all of Bay St did. He read the brochure and looked for the resource estimate. Next!
Where I have my own personal doubts about GNH lies in that fact I have only seen 1 deposit in my lifetime and this guy like this has seen probably 100's. You'd have to favour Brent Cook in that respect.
This could be a very ignorant comment but for all I have learned about the mining business, at the end of the day...it's actually not a very complicated field. The true task and difficulty here is getting the financial support. The ground is what the ground is. Either you have it or you don't.
The mad irony here is that he insinuates that this is a pump job. There hasn't been any pumping going on other than from investors or promoters who have actually been to the property and met the management. And the only reason these people have been to the property was for the simple reason that it is so easily accessible!
I can be at the airport in 20 minutes and on a $129 flight to Quebec City and have Montreal style Bagels for brunch with the Head Geologist that were hand delivered from the President of the company from the bagel shop in Downtown Montreal.
What I'm saying here is that if I could take a Beaver plane to Northern Ontario, or the 8hr flight to Peru, the donkey ride in Mexico, the military brigade in Africa....well we'd all probably be feeling pretty good about the new gold discovery Uganda or wherever else the great gold discovery's are. Well, we can't go there and as it turns out, neither can many mining operations either.
The drill will act as the jury here...albeit an understated one. :) Hopefully the jury will decide in favour of the moronic shareholders of GNH instead of the highly experienced Brent Cook.
