New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Cook's newsletter is over $1000/yr, and worth it, from the minor newsletter writers I follow. He knows more about geology than anyone on this board, and is pretty good at achieving success in the dartboard world of picking successful explorecos.
What he's saying in the subtext of his appearance is that he considers the Beauce and GNH to be a cultic pump-job from the number of emails he's received. I wouldn't disagree. Also, as he notes, GNH has done a poor job of defining a resource so far, and will find it very tough to succeed at what they're doing.
Transcript:
"Golden Hope Mines. That's an interesting project. I've looked at the stuff & data on their website and such. And they've got a real problem in how to sample this thing. It's a very nuggety gold, which means it appears here, here and here, and not in between. And they've had problems sampling that and they are unable to come up with a very good resource as to what they've got. The best they can do is take a bulk sample [...]; that is not a very good way to come up with a resource, in fact that's tough to make a resource.
"And I've gotten a number of emails from subscribers, so there must be a promotion going on in this company [wry smile] suggesting this is like the Witwatersrand Basin or such. From all the data I see, it is not, and I don't see this as a new province at all. It looks like more your characteristic shear-hosted mineralization [...], very erratic mineralization.
"There may be a deposit there, they may make money at it, but it's not what people are suggesting it is; it's not a new province. That I've seen, anyway; I'm happy to be wrong."

But, of course, you can assume that he's a moron, in which case you'll deserve every penny you're left with by doing that.
