via Financial Post - Money Managers Stockpiling Mining Stocks
GBN.H aught to consider that wrapping up their contortions of corporate law and running a business instead would be favourable to attempting the same during a stock market rout. Money managers ravenous for yield are overlooking the possibility of a currency and debt-related crisis.
GBN.H needs to start somewhere, and will not get everything they want 'in one go'. This is as good a time as any to make a start with yields in decline. The bond market will not simply 'pop' as some contend and thus is a requirement for higher gold prices.
But the way to compete is via robust dividends, and not necessarily relying entirely on alpha.
