via Investopedia.com - Trading Halt

A trading halt is really meant to be only for the time that news is released, and then resumed. It's not really meant for a halt lasting more than a few hours. My guess would be that, considering the company never releases any sort of news before FOMC meetings or announcements, that pending news will be released post-FOMC. Gold prices are never permitted to telegraph the outcome of FOMC meetings or announcements.

Remember we said that the costs to pay for mining came out of the 'borrowing from the borrowings' They paid for mining for five years out of the asset-based tranche of financing, and also paid the costs of the revenue based financing out of the same source of capital.

A trustee may be needed to oversee that a large capital write-down is done according to legal means.

Basically we're waiting for the release of news post FOMC that has to do with the settlements of two separate tranches of financing for the end of the fiscal 2016 year, ending April 30, and the closure of two separate agreements that govern the gold supply to the Sprott Physical ETF stored at the mint, and The Royal Canadian Mint's ETR.

So the fact that trading is still halted means news is still pending, and it will have to do with the last five/six years of operations.

My guess is that former directors from Claude Resources recently bought out by Silver Standard will wind up on the board of Golden Band Resources.
