GBN.V Weekly

I have treated the decline in the stock much like you would have an on-call emergency. Gold prices not responding to fundamentals have made it much more difficult than I could imagine. The events that were released for public consumption in the meanwhile were overwhelmingly fabricated, meant to string people along.

If you look through the Waterton Prepaid Bridging Facility, you'll see that the March 2009 PEA is essentially correct, and that the first two quarters were profitable with costs in line. The facts are not borne out in the least by the share price.

For example, if the company managed to escrow production over two years, and had fulfulled the function of the escrow agreement, just the amount of dore bars waiting for refining would set the share price @50¢ per share. The escrow agreement is, of course not publicly available.

My guess is another buying opportunity is coming up with a reverse split of the shares 10:1. This is the only way they can manage to crush the share price further, with a final coup de grace.

Ritualistic clobberings of the baby seals did not quite seem to slake the managing director's thirst. The charade must be kept going, even though sentiment has turned in the bullion market, if only to spare the embarassment of having made a serious strategic error.

$Gold Monthly, Weekly, $CAD

A monthly close above the trendline and above $1434/oz. US will test the previous trend line, established since the top of the market was in:

An important technical crossover on the weekly chart signals a reversal of fortune:

The $CAD gold chart has already seen its technical crossover. Moving averages crossover should be next, as the price is testing the 89-week EMA.

What excuses will the GBN.V management hastily present should the gold price continue to appreciate, and the mill is presumably shut down, which they've announced for the third time? Not that they've continued to process quality ores from the Jolu mine (the huge, visible-from-space Alimak 'bulk sample') and escrow production in the meanwhile.
