Finalization Of Terms On Debt Facility

GBN.V announced the finalization of terms this morning. After the collapse in the share price very briefly to 15¢ this comes as a bit of a relief. Note that we went from a volume extreme to no shares traded.

Commercial traders, who took a chance to sell millions of shares they first did not own for a chance to parry the money against treasuries or corporate bonds aught to be quite taken aback. They were looking for immediate returns, but their haste and greed just bought them a massive short position in a bull market in gold.

It would be worth Waterton's while to take a position in the company so they can micromanage the micromanagers.

It seems to me we haven't had any news of any sort that is current before the last financial report, Q3, fiscal 2012 which ended January. We are now August, after the end of Q1, fiscal 2013 and have been guessing for the last six months what the margin over cost might be, even though this company has been in commercial production for more than a year.

The following article on Mineweb is via Kitco of a takeover bid of an Australian company by a Chinese company (though unconditional rather than hostile.) This gold mining company appears to distributing their cash on hand as a result of the takeover bid, since they know that they can't top the offer.

I would say that GBN.V can distribute cash far superior to many companies, without hindering their development plans, but that's just me.
