It is on that original hope that optimists continue to invest what they maybe shouldn't. Three independent experts have evaluated their samples, and all claimed them BS.
EEStore keeps promising great things, backed up by real, but selected parameters independently "certified". Whether those values reprted are correct or not, doesn't matter. They are necessary, but not sufficient.
In the real world, a new product is introduced by a credible company, using proven methods, and incorporating all the parameters called out in internationally accepted protocols, like EIA, the Europe standards, or mil specs.. They must include real world requirements, like, (duh) life test under temperature, voltage, and environmental expectations.
Anyone can demonstrate capacitor properties. I can go to my kitchen, and interleave aluminum foil, and Saran Wrap, and demonstrate that. By using waxed paper and the foil, sealing it with a warm iron, I can make it more humidity resistant than DW's product.
But, I have been designing capacitors to work in all kinds of places for 40 years, but what do I know?
Sorry to carry on, but "this ain't right."
