Flaw is probably an inaccurate description, but I have an observation.

Aside from the fact that people can change their IP address, depending on who they use as their ISP, there are still work arounds with instructions found in Google.

The real issue....when a person is banned and re-appears with a new name, even with the same IP address, the IP check tool won't show a match of past user names, but I assume Agoracom can see a new member is posting from the previously used IP address right?

The point is this....there are a handful of people who have been banned multiple times, for the same violations, and us members cannot tell who they are, until many reads of new posts, then the style is recognized.

What fix if any can Agoracom do to prevent this?

Personally, if someone gets banned, thinks it over, learned a lesson, comes back with a new name and goes by the rules, no problem, but repeat offenders I do have a problem with, as do most.

If I'm off base, tell me, but just got my thinking cap on this morning....
