Thank you for your inquiries, suggestions and comments. Below you will find our response to the questions you have posed:

 

1) The reason the side menus disappear when you are viewing your inbox is that the side menu bars include Hub control features. We are presently developing a feature that will allow you to quickly access the Hub’s you have added to your list of favorites.

2) Instead of allowing user’s to delete their own posts, we allow users to preview their message before posting. Though we do understand that a message can contain errors, be posted twice et al, however we tend to use this as a safeguard from malicious posters.

3) AGORACOM has just launched the "ignore user" feature and we will make an ignore user list available to everyone soon. In the meantime if you wish to ignore/un-ignore any user, type the URL below into your web browser:

http://agoracom.com/members/

At the end (after the /) type in the user's name you wish to ignore/un-ignore.

4) Your suggestion has been added to our user’s wish list.

5) We have made use of the thumbs down system in the past, but have decided to remove it as the system was abused by some users.  At the present time you can rank user's posts  by using our 5 star voting system.

6) Your recommendation for a view counter on posts is presently a feature we are working on and will be launched soon.

7) You bring up a good point with your suggestion. Whilst all of our Hub's have a press release section, few of them are updated. Users typically post a press release in the discussion forum to prompt discussion about it. 

We are currently working on an application that will automatically update company press releases.
