Performance update reveals rating upgrade and shale gas intentions in Australia.

Along with Origin Energy Resources, Sasol has signed an agreement with Falcon Oil & Gas Australia to acquire a 35% interest in an early-stage exploration position in the Beetaloo basin, which is highly prospective for shale gas and associated liquids.
