I posted the following back on Feb 24th of this year:

> BTW, before anyone writes off Hungary...if there happens to be any "spare" cash between the Hess deal and the Chinese deal (assuming both come to fruition) i wouldn't be entirely surprised if the company generated some buzz by re-entering and conducting a fracking program on the Mako-7 which has been sitting idle since becoming the deepest well in the history of the country. Wouldn't that be something to get excited about...after all, us longs remember the excitement we felt reading Lanman's postings about the potential of the Basal Conglomerate and the Synrift right? That's of course assuming the resource is gas and not water :)

By "designing a deeper test in one of the existing wellbores" I wonder if they are talking about the Mako-7 ? You know, the historic well that was plugged and left for dead for how many years now?? Then again they COULD be talking about a deeper test of the Mako-4 but i guess in the back of my mind i've always dreamt of seeing monster flows from the B.C. / Synrift. Whichever it is i'm sure the data will prove valuable long term whether we see big flows or not. As much as we've been awaiting THE big result for 6 years now at this point it's more likely about gathering data than can direct future decisions for potential development. And that's something i'd rather see - a steady progression instead of a one-off thrill.

At any rate, my lottery ticket has no expiry date.

Cheers
