You have a point. I mean, it seems like it is costing them chump change to evaluate this play. Why would they not continue on? Why would they walk away from a potentially huge play when they can finance it out of petty cash?
OTOH, if they were to decide to walk I think it would undermine what little confidence remains in this play, and would probably scare off a lot of those former suitors.
