AUSTRALIAN PROTEROZOIC OIL SEARCH TO RESUME
Pacific Oil & Gas Pty. Ltd., Box Hill, Victoria, Australia, plans to shoot additional seismic lines and drill more wells this dry season in the McArthur basin of far northern Australia, says the Bureau of Mineral Resources, Canberra. Pacific's 1 Jamison stratigraphic test encountered a minor flow of good quality oil and gas late last year. Well site is at 16 27' 10" S. Lat and 133 46' 45" E. Long. The well flowed gas at the rate of 16 Mcfd on a drillstem test at 2,841-3,053 ft.
