Developing large acreage positions of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources
The rig is a box-on-box type, it is the hydraulic move system that is optional.
Thanks Lanman that clears this up. Actually, I brushed up on it since.

For decades drilling rigs have been seen as noisy, polluting and dangerous work places. This picture has changed since safety and environmental concerns became part of the daily operation. There is a land drilling rig that represents this change most – the EURO RIG™. This module drilling rig is engineered with a fast-move philosophy. It provides high efficiency to the operator, as the design allows several rig configurations: four or two main substructure boxes, four or three mast parts, two or three mud pumps, three or four generator sets and of course a flexible mud tank capacity. The box-on-box substructure enables efficient rig moves on trucks. The modular substructure consists of 9 boxes. These boxes have been used to house noise generating components, such as the centralized hydraulic power unit. The integration of drilling equipment in substructure boxes reduces significantly the rig move times, because the equipment remains installed and internally connected during road transport. For multiple well drilling on one pad, the box-onbox type substructure can be equipped with a hydraulic move system. If installed, the rig moves to new drilling spot within 2 hours. The vertical lift mast consists of 4 units with a dual A-frame. The dimensions of the mast parts are reduced to European road transport limitations. Integrated hydraulic winches ensure the vertical mast lift without request for big cranes. There are no exceptional road permissions required, except for drawworks and mud pumps. The equipment fitted to the rig allows performance drilling; a good choice for operators and contractors. The overall required rig location size is minimal, as all rig equipment is placed very compact around the rig. The rig is built in compliance with the latest European regulations; low emission and fully ATEX certified. The maximum sound level is 80 dBA in one metre distance to noise sources. The containerized substructure, vertical lift mast, modularized mud tank system and optimized transport units allow moving the rig within five days, ready to spud. The rig moves in approx. 65 truck loads, including 4 generators, pipe racks and diesel tanks. The foot print of 40 x 55 m reduces cost for pad construction significantly. The main drilling equipment is AC driven but can be build as DC upon request. The rig is a result of joint engineering effort by the rig builder and the operator, which resulted in the fabrication of the most modern european land drilling rig.
