Welcome to the Evolving Gold Free HUB On AGORACOM

Evolving Gold is focused on exploring its significant discovery at Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming, an alkalic gold system, similar to the Cripple Creek gold district in Colorado, and on gold properties adjacent to the Carlin district of Nevada.

I understand what you are saying from a geology perspective, but from a stock market perspective I still submit that Aurelian may be a better guide. A little history on Cripple Creek:

"On October 20, 1890, however, Robert Miller "Bob" Womack discovered a rich ore and the last great Colorado gold rush was on. Thousands of prospectors flocked to the region, and before long W. S. Stratton located the famous Independence lode, one of the largest gold strikes in history. In three years, the population increased from 500 to 10,000 by 1893. Though $500,000,000 worth of gold ore was dug from Cripple Creek, Womack himself would die, penniless, on August 10, 1909."

My chart service does not go back that far and even if it did, I am not sure that there was an associated publicly trading company at the time of discovery. I do not know the specifics as to when Anglo Ashanti got involved with CC, but I suspect that they acquired the mine only relatively recently and are mining what is left there, but after tens of millions of ounces have already been mined. Anglo is a large company and I do not know what percentage of their production is attributable to CC. If anyone wants to jump in here with some facts that would be great. Personally, I usually don't let them get in the way of my analysis. ;^)
