Whoa, whoa....Artie!
First of all, nobody should be telling you what to do with your money.
But why should you stick around??
I thought we were just getting started. Now is not the time to fold your hand if you want to play for keeps. Finskiy has just pushed in a rather large bet here, but he's got lots of chips left at the table. And I want some of those chips!
Let's not forget that these guys own a lot of shares of CMM as well - non-voting shares. I'm pretty sure they are not in the business of driving their share price down. (Mind you, they could own a boatload of near worthless shares of WTG, yay for them)
It's pretty clear that they are trying to buy CMM for pennies on the dollar but if you are a gambler at heart, the game is only just beginning.
This sideline amateur sees a lot of things wrong with their proposal, not the least of which it looks like it is illegal in several ways. Now I am going to make a rather large assumption here that these guys really want (almost need) CMM and that they weren't coming to the table with their best offer.
What if they throw 40 cents per share on top of their latest offer? That may sound good to some shareholders at this point. They are playing the game very well.
Do they have paid allies on the sidelines voting YES to this merger?? Maybe, but that would also be illegal and how can these guys get people to front money like stooges for this deal? Not impossible but not simple either.
I'm holding out for some fireworks and if that's what an investor is here for, the timing is great.
Just my 2 cents, but I don't have blood money riding here so I'm comfortable with the risk.
