Then again, I don't know the real history of what's going on there. Apparently the former owners sold the mine off to Century, and now they're minority Century shareholders? The workers don't like the previous owners? That seems to be what I'm getting out of these few articles I find. I guess it's smart to buy a distressed property with tons of unmined gold, but we'll have to see how this labour situation works out.

I would assume the workers at San Juan could get paid 3x what they're paid now if they just let Century modernize that mine.

Anyway, I have no inside knowledge, or even much in the way of knowledge generally, so everything I know might be wrong.
