Yes, it definitely does have room for expansion - CMM's website says there's more gold in them hills - but the present operation almost seems like something from the end of the 19th century, judging by the photos at their site. I'd be happy to see them put some money into a modern mine at San Juan, but now it looks like they need to get new staff to work at it. Angry workers suggests poor productivity to me. YMMV.

I dunno... I've done a bit of reading, and most of the mention of the workers at the mine seems to come from militant unionist papers... then again, I habla no Espanol so I am probably getting the context wrong. Who knows?

Anyway, I emailed IR for clarification of what's really going on down there, and if this will disrupt the work at Lamaque at all (=money flow). We'll see.
