The US Government is trying to build a US supply chain for lithium batteries. So far I see LAC and EFL taking a part of that. Here is what we are looking at.
She (Secretary Granholm) will also discuss $3 billion in BIL funding to invest in refining battery materials such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and graphite, and battery recycling facilities, creating good-paying clean energy manufacturing jobs.
So we have mining and refining Lithium (with LAC), Cathode manufacturing, Solid state cell manufacturing and battery module assembly. Now what we need is an automotive manufacturer that has not yet committed to a battery type. Is there one? I think so, think TOYOTA. As you know Raymond is using the Electrovaya NMC cell for their forklifts. If Electrovaya has produced some prototype cells (they have) then my money says TOYOTA has one or two and are now testing them. All we have to do now is sit back and wait for the announcements. There are many to come out in the next couple of months.
