General Manager

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors the mission and core values of the company. Bottom line: Build a beautiful company.
• Lead the recruiting and hiring process of key personnel for Jamestown NY facility.
• Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
• Lead production and coordinate with quality, supply chain, and service departments.
• Manage production (High Precision Assembly of Electro-Mechanical Components) to assure deliveries are on-time, to specification, of high quality and are on-budget
• Champion the improvement of core business processes such that the company can manage bootstrapped rapid growth
• Manage and build vendor partnerships for growth and continuous improvement.
• Manage and build a lean supply chain to balance growth, product continuous improvement, and growth capital.
• Develop and manage the service department as a customer and product feedback loop while ensuring customer delight and company profit center
• Lead and/or support the evolution of core business tools including CRM, PLM, ERP, QMS
• Support the development of quality management and service systems.
• Identify and remove organizational bottlenecks and have a strong ability to communicate across the department, as well as with all stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
• Set measurable and specific KPIs for performance and growth
• Drive Lean Initiatives, Continuous Improvement, and 5S
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance - accountable for bottom-line for direct labor as % of costs
• Attention to detail
• Support engineering teams to launch new products in creating processes and feedback on Prototype Design
• Optimization of manufacturing and assembly processes
