Those bus fires could make a great advertisement for Electrovaya.  They have the best battery but it also costs the most.  Also it lasts longer (cycle wise) than most OEM want to pay for so they can keep selling product to the same customers.  The cell production research going on now (Automating the production process) will go a long way to reducing the cell cost.  Then production in NA will also lower shipping costs and delays.  Electrovaya should be pretty close to breaking even except for those high R&D expenditures.

Once the process is automated, then all they will need is a NA raw material supply.  Once the process is automated they will start partnering with mineral suppliers??
