Always a battle between battery and hydrogen still to be determined. Both may exist together for the foreseeable future based on each customers preference. Easier to simply plug in a battery than to build solar/wind, produce and compress H, then deliver to sites picking up empty containers. Not to mention any safety factor storing containers full of H. Won't take much to make EFL successful as small as they are. Plus, I think Raymond has down their homework with regard to the 2 technologies and they chose BEV.
It also makes sense, Walmart or any other large user cannot rely on such a small company. Therefore, they need multiple solutions. I think moreso important going forward with potential supply chain headwinds likely increasing in the next 6-12 mths.
On a sidenote, not sure if I was dreaming (maybe I was) but i had a strong recollection in a CC of Sankar making a comment they were actually stealing some units away from H fuel cells. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to confirm that in any transcripts and as of now, it's probably wishful thinking. It stuck with me because it was such an important comment. Seems no one can validate it with me.
Won't take much for EFL to start generating profits if they can actually hit $30mil in sales and increase from there. They have fixed costs to a point, then better profits begin to kick in.
But, ....
if the recent $10.6mil order was primarily due to ONE fortune 100 Company, it begs the question, where are all the other customers and orders? just like trading volume these days, seems like everyone left. They need the sales to get the SP up if they hope to finance future growth at all.
