Nothing new here but it is good to see the information getting out. I'm trying to remember the level of news that led up to the QuantumScape hype and blow up to $100+ back in December 2020. I'm certain the DasGuptas are trying to figure that out as well.
Of course, the partnership with Volkswagon since 2012 and recently another as-yet-unnamed auto manufacturer certainly helps the QS story. It's interesting that even though the price briefly returned to $20 back at the beginning of the month it has been heading lower as it has become increasingly clear that QS is still at least a few years out from commercialization.
QS has developed multi-layer cells. Electrovaya has developed 2 and 4-layer cells. Raj has insinuated "two years out from commercialization."
Two questions:
1. Is there any chance that Electrovaya beats QS to the punch?
2. Is the QS solid-state technology also a "hybrid" as Electrovaya's solid-state cell has been termed?
